LATAM Airlines of South America Accepts Bankruptcy Option
May 26, 2020. LATAM Airlines used to be one of the largest airlines of Latin America. The Chilean-Brazilian airline finally filed for bankruptcy in the US. The airline’s CEO Roberto Alvo in a video statement stated that LATAM Airlines Group and its affiliates in Peru, Chile, Ecuador and Colombia entered into a voluntary reorganization under Chapter 11 protection in the United States.
